The 7 Most Delicious Life-Size Car Models You Have Ever Seen
Throughout the years I’ve been writing on Oddity Central, I’ve seen some pretty amazing car models built out of the most unusual materials, and edible cars have definitely been among the most impressive. I’ve featured some of them on this blog, and today I thought I’d make a list of the coolest life-size cars made of things you love to eat.
Chococar
This tasty looking thing was created exclusively out of chocolate, and was exhibited in SIngapore’s Royal Plaza on Scotts, back in 2008. The 4.7 meters-long, 2 meters-wide Formula 1 car weighed around 90 kilograms and was made with white, dark and milk chocolate. The design alone took 44 days to complete, and a team of eight chocolatiers worked 7 days and nights on it.

Another Brazil - Fight Mae Bumba
One of the first things that comes to mind when you hear Brazil - is of course the carnival!
This festival is one of the major events in the country. Not so well known for another festival - Fight Mae Bumba.
It is held usually in June in the Amazon, and this kind of response to the Samba in Rio. Bumbadromy built on the same type that sambodromy.
Have their own schools, Superstar, sponsors and all the backroom war. You can not compare the carnival in Rio and Carnival in Parintins - not the magnitude,
Bumba but carries more history and culture of Amazonian Indians. Yes, and beautifully simple. Sing, dance and worship the spirits of ...

Beautiful Top Ice Hotels
Igloos have always fascinated me as a child. Nowadays, what I have on my list are ice hotels complete with rooms, bars, and the works. You need to experience staying in them before they melt! We came up with a list of the best ice hotels that we know of:
The ICEHOTEL (Sweden)
This is the original Ice Hotel in Lapland, Sweden. It has evolved from a 60 square meter igloo into the biggest ice hotel made of snow and ice with an area of 5,500 square meters. The art-chitecture of the Ice Hotel has inspired a lot of people and have been the reason why ice hotels have been popping in different countries.
They also have the Ice Bar in partnership with Absolut. Aside from their Ice Bar in Jukkasjarvi, they have launched ICEBAR in Oslo, Tokyo, Copenhagen, London, and Stockholm.
This year they are offering a guided tour by bus for guests so you will have the opportunity to see the northern lights. Burn some $400 to $500 to experience the ICEHOTEL.

American House Lit Up by One Million Christmas Lights
For most of us, Christmas lights are just another tradition, but for Faucher family, in Delaware, it has become a real passion. For 23 years they have been decorating their home with one million Christmas lights that cover every inch of their property. The lights are accompanied by other joyful Christmas ornaments that spread through out the garden, like snowmen, candy canes, elves or toy soldiers.
But this beautiful, over-the-top display of Christmas spirit is definitely not cheap. According to “House Logic”, a homeowners website, the bill could reach a staggering $82,320, if the lights used are common 5 watt C7 bulbs that are left on for four hours every night, for 30 days. If they use LEDs, they “only” have to pay a $10,680 electric bill, while proudly owning an environment-friendly installation.
The Christmas lights tradition is an ancient one. Even in the times when Christians were persecuted, people chose to light candles as a symbol of celebrating Christmas. It was around the year 1500 that Christmas trees were decorated with lights for the first time, in Germany, but quickly spread throughout the world.
It was only in the 17th century the Christmas lights were brought to the outside of the house, as people started decorating their homes and gardens.
Although the tradition of decorating with Christmas lights became very popular after the 1950′s, it’s only fair to say that the Fauchers took it all to another level with their 1 million lights installation. Every year, they enjoy the admiration of not only their neighbors, but also that of people from around the country, who come to admire the Fauchers’ magical display of Christmas spirit.
