The 7 Most Delicious Life-Size Car Models You Have Ever Seen

Throughout the years I’ve been writing on Oddity Central, I’ve seen some pretty amazing car models built out of the most unusual materials, and edible cars have definitely been among the most impressive. I’ve featured some of them on this blog, and today I thought I’d make a list of the coolest life-size cars made of things you love to eat.
Chococar
This tasty looking thing was created exclusively out of chocolate, and was exhibited in SIngapore’s Royal Plaza on Scotts, back in 2008. The 4.7 meters-long, 2 meters-wide Formula 1 car weighed around 90 kilograms and was made with white, dark and milk chocolate. The design alone took 44 days to complete, and a team of eight chocolatiers worked 7 days and nights on it.

This impressive building is the world’s first and largest hotel built entirely of ice and snow. Each year, huge ice blocks weighing more than 2 tons each are plucked from the frozen Torne River and shaped into magnificent suites, a restaurant and the famous Ice Bar.

Igloos have always fascinated me as a child. Nowadays, what I have on my list are ice hotels complete with rooms, bars, and the works. You need to experience staying in them before they melt! We came up with a list of the best ice hotels that we know of:

The ICEHOTEL (Sweden)

This is the original Ice Hotel in Lapland, Sweden. It has evolved from a 60 square meter igloo into the biggest ice hotel made of snow and ice with an area of 5,500 square meters. The art-chitecture of the Ice Hotel has inspired a lot of people and have been the reason why ice hotels have been popping in different countries.

They also have the Ice Bar in partnership with Absolut. Aside from their Ice Bar in Jukkasjarvi, they have launched ICEBAR in Oslo, Tokyo, Copenhagen, London, and Stockholm.

This year they are offering a guided tour by bus for guests so you will have the opportunity to see the northern lights. Burn some $400 to $500 to experience the ICEHOTEL.
